Allison Mackenzie is a Scottish born artist and printmaker who has spent many years divided between Japan and the UK.
Born in Motherwell and raised in Luton, from an early age she was fascinated by East Asian cultures, with a particular fondness for all things Japanese.

FEATURE from Japan Day • May 2014 at Cardiff Central Library
A day of Japanese Cultural Events, Demonstrations, Workshops and Exhibits celebrating Japanese Arts, Traditional Crafts, Culture & Literature, was held in Cardiff Central Library on Saturday 31st May 2014.
This event was delivered in partnership with local Japanese community members, businesses and institutions. ...contd

Hailing from Barrow-in-Furness, Phil McMenemy, award-winning landscape and fine art photographer, spent a large part of his working life as a children’s mental health nurse – firstly in London and then in Manchester – before taking the decision to relocate to Dumfries and Galloway, where he raised a family and embarked upon a new career as a fine art photographer.
Entirely self-taught and claiming to have no direct photographic influences, McMenemy draws his inspiration from the landscape of the Scottish Lowlands and the seasonal changes that occur within. His photography is a response to these stimuli. ...contd
